Cullin sent me this article in the New York Times Magazine about Mark Driscoll in Seattle and the concept of "New Calvinism". Worth reading, especially to see a secular view of the current state of the evangelical movement.

I thought this article was spot on with the way it pointed out the "seeker sensitive" dilemma of large contemporary churches. I'm not sure if a "New Calvinism" is the right angle or the machismo Jesus, but it seems a bit more real than saying Jesus loves you just the way you are.
